The class typically covers: 📄 Basic Document Creation: Opening Word, creating new documents, saving files, and understanding the interface. ✍️ Text Formatting: Changing fonts, sizes, colors, and using bold, italics, and underline. 📑 Page Layout: Adjusting margins, orientation, and inserting headers, footers, and page numbers. 📌 Editing Tools: Spell check, grammar suggestions, and using Find & Replace. 📷 Inserting Elements: Adding images, tables, and hyperlinks to enhance documents. 📚 Practical Projects: Students often complete assignments like resumes, reports, or flyers to apply their skills. The instructor guides learners through video lectures, interactive exercises, and real-time feedback, making it accessible even for those with little to no prior experience.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation & Refund Policy 🗓️ Cancellation Policy - Students may cancel their enrollment **up to 7 days before the course start date** for a full refund. - Cancellations made **within 7 days of the start date** will receive a **50% refund**. - Once the course has begun, **no refunds** will be issued for cancellations. - To cancel, students must submit a written request via email to the course administrator. 💸 Refund Policy - **Full refunds** will be granted if the course is canceled by the instructor or due to unforeseen circumstances. - If a student experiences technical issues that prevent participation, they must notify the instructor ** before the class begins or ends** a partial refund may be granted if participation is impossible. - Refunds will be processed within **14 business days** of approval and returned via the original payment method.

Lighthouse is currently working tirelessly to fulfill our mission to provide support for those who are in vulnerable positions by providing social assistance, meals, clothing, personal hygiene, and community resources through outreaches which are held weekly in low-income communities across the state. Raising enough capital to support the needs of the ever-growing homeless population is a cumbersome task with the rise in food prices, gas prices, rent prices, and general inflation overall. It is a vicious cycle, and it promotes the need even more to accommodate those who are struggling or will eventually be struggling soon with shelter, food, and an opportunity to get back on their feet.
